White-Tufted Worm (Protula Tubularia)

Size: This species is larger than the red tube worm (serpula vermicularis), with the fan tuft measuring about 3cm in diameter.

Colour & shape: It is creamy white or pale in colour and will have regular spots up each tentacle. This animal is also differentiated by not having a protective operculum for its calcified tube.
