Habitat: This anemone lives in shallow water, often falling dry during low water.
Reproduction: It is viviparous, its females brood embryos and release small sea anemones.
Colour: Can be found red, green or straw-coloured.
Did you know: It can sometimes be associated with a ball-shaped ciliate parasite (foetingeria actinarium), that can be seen inside the tentacles of some of the green individuals.
