Light Bulb Tunicate (Clavelina Lepadiformis)

Habitat: Although this sea squirt is occasionally found in deeper rock pools, it is mostly associated with harbour walls, vertical cliffs and ledges. This species seems to be restricted to dark places.
Behaviour: It grows in small attached colonies.
Size: 1.5 cm.
Shape: Zooids are cylindrical and smooth.
Colour: White light bulb filament markings in a transparent body cavity.
